Rittal and Stulz announced the launch of a worldwide partnership that will focus on joint product development for data center infrastructure, consulting, support, and services. Customers will benefit from one-stop IT infrastructure solutions and from an expanded portfolio of premium and precision cooling systems for small and mid-size data centers
Schaumburg, IL, March 27, 2023 – Rittal North America, a global manufacturer of industrial and IT enclosures and Stulz, the leading specialist for data center cooling systems, entered into a global partnership in 2021 and have now begun following the partnership in the U.S.A. As a result, the two acknowledged pioneers will be better equipped to offer customers end-to-end, solutions tailored to their needs. Rittal’s broad IT infrastructure portfolio will benefit from an expanded portfolio of premium IT and precision cooling systems offered by Stulz. Rittal’s contribution includes enclosures, cooling units, power-supply solutions, data center monitoring, and installation services.
Demand for one-stop data center solutions is growing. The IT industry is evolving fast, with new technologies and applications such as 5G, machine learning, and digital twins. Consequently, companies must upgrade and expand their IT infrastructure at an ever-increasing pace. They need solutions that can be implemented quickly, that comply with high international standards of quality and security, and that can be tailored to their specific requirements. This is exactly what Rittal and Stulz are able to deliver, as innovators and global players with long and successful track records.
Future-proof IT based on collaboration
The partnership brings together a broad choice of cooling options with the ability to quickly and flexibly install and extend complex IT assets. The precision cooling solutions, including free cooling and adiabatic technology from Stulz, blend perfectly with the modular structure of the new Rittal RiMatrix Micro Data Center (MDC) / Edge platform. IT decision-makers pick and mix racks, cooling units, power-supply systems, and IT monitoring and security elements to create a holistic, efficient solution. RiMatrix MDC flexible architecture, in conjunction with the shared consulting, support and service offering, ensure answers are available to all possible IT scenarios, now and in the future. This extends from individual racks or container solutions for edge applications and highly scalable co-location and cloud data centers.
Both Rittal and Stulz will be participating at Data Center Day – New York, NY on March 27-28, 2023. This will be followed by a collaborative event in May 16-17, 2023 where Rittal, Stulz, and Eaton will host Data Center – Future Ready in Raleigh, NC.
“The partnership of Rittal and Stulz will allow us to better support the needs of our U.S. customer base with complete IT solutions,” states Andreas Ruzic, Chief Executive Officer of Rittal USA and Executive Vice President of Rittal North America. “Our combined capabilities will provide customers with top tier, end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions.
