Air cooling
Operation:

- The heat inside the enclosure is dissipated into the surroundings via a forced airflow (air exchange)
- Air routing inside the enclosure may be at both the extracting and discharging end

- Lower energy costs due to shorter running time in the case of fan-and-filter units with efficient EC motor

Operation:
- Heat loss to be dissipated up to 3,100 W at ∆T = 10 K
- The heat inside the enclosure is dissipated into the surroundings via a forced airflow (air exchange)

Operation:
- Heat loss to be dissipated up to 900 W at ∆T = 10 K
- Unlike fans, the air/air heat exchanger consists of two closed circuits
- Instead of external air flowing through the enclosure, external and internal air flow through the heat exchanger fins according to the cross-flow principle
- The heat in the internal air is absorbed by the external air without any direct contact, which means a high protection category can be achieved, as the contaminated external air does not come into direct contact with the air inside the enclosure
Benefits:
- Reduced maintenance thanks to separate control of internal and external fans
- Easy cleaning thanks to a removable heat exchanger module
- Longer maintenance intervals, which reduces servicing costs
Cooling units
Werking:
- Af te voeren vermogensverlies tot 80 W bij L35/L35
- Het Peltier-koelaggregaat functioneert volgens het thermo-elektrische principe, waarbij een elektrische stroom onder bepaalde omstandigheden een temperatuurverschil tussen twee metalen aders veroorzaakt
Voordelen:
- Milieuvriendelijk, omdat er geen gassen of koudemiddelen nodig zijn

- Using a cooling medium (refrigerant R134a), the air in the enclosure is cooled in a separate internal and external circuit, and the heat is dissipated into the surroundings
- Because external air does not enter the enclosure, a high protection category is achieved
Benefits:
- The perfect symbiosis of the VX25 baying enclosure system and Blue e+ cooling unit reduces the amount of planning work required
- The cooling unit can be easily pulled out to the front for easy maintenance
- No assembly work required – the cooling unit, door-operated switch and connection cabling are installed ready to connect
Liquid cooling
Werking:
- Af te voeren vermogensverlies tot 7000 W bij L35/W10 en 500 l/h
- Binnen- en buitencirculatie zijn gescheiden, daardoor wordt een hoge beschermklasse bereikt
- Het koelmedium is bij deze aggregaten doorgaans water
- Een gesloten watercirculatie voorziet de aggregaten van gekoeld water
- De vloeistofkoeling kan (centraal) via een chiller plaatsvinden
Voordelen:
- Flexibele toepassing dankzij diverse uitvoeringsvarianten: watervoerende delen van roestvaststaal (1.4571) of van koper/messing (Cu/CuZn), Hygienic Design
- Comfortabele en flexibele wateraansluitmogelijkheden
- Om een efficiënte, energiezuinige variant te realiseren worden alle aggregaten met comfortregeling uitgerust met de Eco-mode-regeling: de ventilator wordt afhankelijk van de kastbinnentemperatuur naar behoefte uitgeschakeld

- Binnen- en buitencirculatie zijn gescheiden, daardoor wordt een hoge beschermklasse bereikt
- Het koelmedium is bij deze aggregaten doorgaans water
- Een gesloten watercirculatie voorziet de aggregaten van gekoeld water
- De vloeistofkoeling kan (centraal) via een chiller plaatsvinden
Voordelen:
- Flexibele wateraansluitmogelijkheden aan de boven- of onderzijde van het aggregaat
- Flexibele opstelling mogelijk, omdat er bij een luchtuitstroming aan beide zijden per zijde een luchtstroming van 5 kW mogelijk is of bij een luchtuitstroming aan één zijde een luchtstroming van 10 kW.
- Om een efficiënte, energiezuinige variant te realiseren worden alle aggregaten met comfortregeling uitgerust met de Eco-mode-regeling: de ventilator wordt afhankelijk van de kastbinnentemperatuur naar behoefte uitgeschakeld

Enclosure heater
Operation:
- The PTC elements used in all Rittal enclosure heaters automatically regulate their resistance and thus their thermal output based on the temperature
