New air diverter for enclosure cooling systems

Don’t give hotspots a chance

If hot spots occur in an enclosure due to insufficient ventilation or cooling, electronic components can overheat and – in the worst case – fail.  Rittal has come up with a remedy with the “air diverter” accessory module, a new, sophisticated solution for targeted air routing that can be retrofitted without using tools to existing Blue e+ cooling units in next to no time.

Cold air in every corner of the enclosure and especially where there are hot spots. That is not always the rule in system operation. Targeted cooling of the power electronics is needed to ensure stable, long-term operation.  With the air diverter for Blue e+ cooling units, Rittal offers a new accessory that meets this requirement.

The air diverter is easy to attach to the cooling unit thanks to tool-free installation. It can also be flexibly aligned to the left, right, top or bottom.  Even devices that have already been installed and are in operation can be retrofitted in no time at all via plug & play. There is also unrestricted space, thanks to the low installation depth.

The air diverter from Rittal thus solves climate control problems in the enclosure simply and practically. The plastic accessory element for Blue e+ cooling units is available in sheet steel, stainless steel and chemical-resistant versions from 1 kW to 5.8 kW.
