OCI

Transfer to the Rittal online shop

The OCI interface allows our customers to import baskets into their own systems. Orders can then be triggered from within your own system.

OCI benefits at a glance

  • Dynamic product catalog: Benefit from a dynamic product catalog that’s always up-to-date, and streamline your purchasing processes.

  • Up-to-date prices: Make well-founded purchase decisions based up-to-date prices.

  • Slot neatly into your own ERP system: Seamlessly integrate article master data into your ERP system to ensure data consistency and integrity.

  • Only one user account is required: One access at the customer end is sufficient to utilise all the functions and benefits of the OCI.

  • Access to all data sheets: Get comprehensive access to all relevant data sheets so that detailed product information is at hand whenever you need it.

Registration

You will need a valid online shop login to be able to use the OCI interface.
If you do not yet have an account, please register by completing the registration form.

You will need a valid registration for the Rittal online shop, and the individual call parameters will need to be integrated into your system. You can set up the link yourself. Please contact your local IT team using the information provided below.

The OCI process at Rittal

The OCI process

The OCI format is a standardised exchange format for catalog data between e-procurement systems and suppliers.

  1. API LOGIN
    Jump to the OCI online shop with automatic login via API
  2. HOOK URL
    Transfer the OCI basket
  3. CHECKOUT
    Transmit the order to the Rittal ERP system

Link

Once you have successfully registered, you can create an individual call link using your login data and the relevant parameters.

The call link should be structured as follows:

https://www.rittal.com/de-de/shop/oci-login?login=Ihre E-MailAdresse&password=IhrPasswort&id=oci&
SENDFORM=POST&MATGRP=ECLASS80&TARGET=_top&PREVENT_REDIRECT=true&HOOK_URL=Ihre Rücksprungadresse

URL: https://www.rittal.com/de-de/shop/oci-login?
login = Your username (email address)
password = Your login password
id = oci (Do not edit, for internal use only)
SENDFORM = POST (Do not edit, for internal use only)
MATGRP = ECLASS51; ECLASS60; ECLASS80; ECLASS10; ETIM60; ETIM70; UNSPSC (choice of classification, case-sensitive mapping: please use capital letters)

TARGET= Controls the result display (“_top” = Display in the same browser window; “_blank” = Display in a new browser window)

PREVENT_REDIRECT= Controls whether the current page should divert to the (emptied) basket after submitting the OCI form (“true” = diversion deactivated; “false” = diversion activated)
HOOK_URL = Your return address

If the shop is embedded in a procurement system (for example as IFRAME), the following parameter configuration should be used:

TARGET=_top
PREVENT_REDIRECT=true

This definition prevents a new window from opening after submitting the OCI form, and ensures that the page does not divert to the basket. Instead, you will remain within your own system.
