Our efficiency and service check

Having confidence in your systems and equipment is good. But our efficiency and service check means certainty which is always better. Rittal products promise sustainability, reliability and maximum energy efficiency. As a dependable supplier of complete solutions, we are your partner when it comes to accelerating the transition to carbon-neutral production. With comprehensive advice and solutions expertise. Individual and personal. Because we are here for you. For example with our efficiency and service checks.

We show you what is possible.

An efficiency check is the starting point for a personalised efficiency analysis. This in turn serves as the basis for a tailored solution to boost your efficiency.

  • Overview of the status and current performance of your systems and equipment

  • Presentation of energy costs and potential savings

  • Specific energy-saving strategies for energy audits to DIN EN 16247-1

Analyses can only be carried out within the framework of industrial applications and compressor-driven enclosure cooling units.

We ensure that everything runs smoothly.

A service check begins with a visit by one of our qualified service technicians to record the data, general condition and maintenance status of your devices. Subsequently, you receive an efficiency calculation and recommendations on ways to enhance your efficiency and machine availability. Our personalised advice also includes information on possible government incentives and potential tax savings.

  • Overview of the status and current performance of your systems and equipment
  • Cost saving potential and uptime optimisation opportunity
  • Specific energy-saving strategies for energy audits to DIN EN 16247-1
  • Recommendations to reduce unplanned production downtime and the associated costs

IT check with optional CFD analysis

Climate control accounts for a significant proportion of energy use in IT systems and data centres. This is one area where it is particularly worthwhile to optimise your cooling systems. A profitability calculation will elucidate your return on investment. Have us conduct regular, in-depth inspections of your OT and IT infrastructure. This will improve performance and ensure that any risks are identified early on.

Carry out an IT check!

In one short visit, our IT specialists will gain an initial overview of your IT infrastructure with a quick IT check and assess any modernisation requirements. Simply ask your technician about the IT check at your next appointment. We will be happy to assist you with an initial assessment and advice on the status of your equipment.

Based on these findings, we will arrange a follow-up appointment at which our IT specialists will document full details of your site conditions. In order to ensure the efficiency and safety of your IT solution, all details are professionally documented, from the maintenance status including any leaks in the cooling systems, to obsolescence risks, through to compliance with statutory requirements, guidelines and standards.

As the outcome, you are sent an assessment containing individual optimisation and modernisation options including identified cost drivers, potential savings and risk minimisation via the optional predictive replacement of wearing parts. To assist with budget planning, you will also receive a detailed quote for implementation of all the identified measures.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a numerical calculation method offering unique analysis opportunities for the deign and optimisation of data centre cooling. CFD provides digital flow and temperature simulations in data centres, for faster decision-making about climate control solutions.

The CFD analysis is included in your data centre IT check to help you cut costs, continuously improve availability, capacity and efficiency, and minimise the risk of failure.
